Game two was a see-saw battle that ended with a walk off suicide squeeze by the Eagles, earning the sweep 7-6 over the Norsemen. The Norse banged out 11 hits but in the end it was a bases loaded bunt by Kolbe Stewart that scored Blake Masterman on the suicide that wrapped up a come from behind win in the seventh. Down one going into the seventh, the Eagles were aided by a pop up miscue followed by a Masterman double that tied the game. Two intentional walks later Stewart and Masterman executed the suicide to perfection for the win.
Tommy Gautraud had three hits and scored a run for the Norse. Jared Demint and Charlie Branch had two hits apiece. Demint had two RBI and and scored a run for the Norse.
Koleman Wall was two for three with an RBI and two runs scored. Luke Layman was two for three with a run scored and an RBI. In the end it was the bats of Masterman and Stewart the put the Eagles over the top. Stewart had two RBI including the game winner. Wall picked up the win in relief for the Eagles.
The Eagles finished off their league championship with a 13-1 record and are now 22 and 4 overall.
