Game Recap

The Oakridge Eagles girls soccer team hosted the Montague Wildcats on Wednesday evening in the 3rd & 4th place game in the West Michigan Conference tournament. Madison Bisson got the Eagles on the board in the first half off an assist from Alexis Florez. This gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead at halftime. Bisson followed it up with another goal early in the second half off an assist from Andy Cartwright. The Wildcats made it a one goal difference when Emily Unger found the back of the net. Then 2 minutes later Alexis Florez scored an unassisted goal to make the final 3-1 in favor of the Eagles. The Eagles next host Newaygo in their district opener on Wednesday the 31st at 7:00 pm.
